Children between the ages of 2 and 12
Children between 2 and 12 years old are entitled to their own seat.
Unaccompanied Minors
You must notify your airline of any minors between the ages of 5 and 14 who will be travelling alone. An airport assistant will look after your child until boarding time; they will then be looked after by a flight attendant on board. The parent or supervisor concerned must remain at the airport until takeoff.
Pregnant Passengers
If you are pregnant you should always inform the airline of your status when booking and request the necessary documentation (MEDIF).
ITALIAN CHILDREN DOCUMENTS
By 26 June 2012 minors can travel only with an individual document
From 26.06.2012 pursuant to Regulation (EC) 444/2009 all Italian children must be equipped with individual travel document to travel in Europe and abroad, ie passport or identity card valid for expatriation, if valid for the country crossed, or other equivalent travel document.
Will not be accepted the inscription on the parent's passport; this travel document is valid only for the parent holder until its natural end.
