Ancona airport, effectively equipped for cargo operations, uses an area of 4,500 sq.mt. in which there are all the necessary facilities for the treatment of all types of goods to national and international destinations, offices for customs authorities and forwarding agents.
Aerdorica goods office performs all operations relating to the acceptance, handling, loading of goods and export and import including all necessary documentation. Manages the customs warehouse TC (temporary storage) for goods extra Cee. It operates as an agent for Alitalia goods and documentation. It is also possible to make international freight forwarding and customs operations on site. The structure and the equipment allow to give assistance to any type of load and aircraft for carrying cargo flights palletized or containerized.
At Ancona airport are established and operating three express couriers DHL, FEDEX and UPS, and the airport is also open to Alitalia's cargo network.
In the structure there are offices of Ancona Customs and State Forestry Corps.
The annual movement of goods is approximately 7,000 tons.
